I have always been fascinated by 'Sadhus'. I always thought they have an element of mystery in them. Its a lot of knowledge- both of good and bad and an unassuming countenance that veils within itself so much.

Back In Action!!!

Had to come back to the conventional medium. And the feel of real colors smudged in my hands truely gave a sense of joy and immense satisfaction. I will indulge in it more often.

Fun at Sculpting-"Night Crawler"

       "He" is a treacherous mighty beast with an insatiable thirst for human blood and flesh.He invades the surface of Earth in the under the moonlit sky....is "He" coming for you now?........
        Had great fun designing this creature and the concept around it.Tried my hands on Sculpting for the first time.Polymer Clay is a superkewl medium which really gives an artist like me the freedom to do so much.Thanx Craig Campbell for teaching me and inspiring me....I promise to be getting better at it!!.....

Channel Packaging

This is a part of a pitch that I made for the packaging of the channel Sony Max.The channel believes in reflecting the rich aesthetics of Hindi Cinema and captures colour and warmth.Its presence is youthful,energetic,dynamic,aspirational and family oriented.

The basic idea was "entertainment" with its base of films and cricket.The flavour had to be energetic,vibrant and clutter breaking.

"Biscope" used to be considered a very interesting form of entertainment across various age groups in India.With very ornate ,yet crude and hand made design motiffs it also had a mass appeal because of the exterior,colour and make.

I chose this as my idea and explored the designs around it.I tries using the motiffs,the colours,the materials even the hinges (mechanism) as the building blocks for the design and animation.Even the font used was the "Dilli Chaatwala" kind of street,raw,font to keep it true to its style.
